Most thoughts arrive when you can’t write them down: on a walk, in the shower, between meetings. Lode lets you just talk. It transcribes on your iPhone, then uses Apple Intelligence to give each note a title, summary and tags, pull out tasks and decisions, and connect it to what you said before.
What it does
- Talk, and it’s ready. On-device transcription, titles, summaries and tags. Ideas are kept apart from tasks and decisions, and tasks can go straight to Reminders. Capture from Siri, the Action Button, a widget or Control Center.
- Your thoughts find each other. A memory map shows how your ideas relate. Lode notices when a new note changes an earlier plan, and each week “Your Week” sums up themes and open loops.
- Your memory goes with you. Hand it to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, export Markdown to Obsidian, or take a full backup. Export is always free.
Good to know
Your notes live on your phone. There is no account and no Lode server, and nothing leaves your device unless you send it. The organising features need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence; capture works on any iPhone.
